Okay so there are topics about music you like to listen to, but I was just wondering if any of you played any music yourself? And with what instruments? I play the piano myself, but I'm not very good at it. I don't practice as often as I should but it's still fun to play sometimes. I like trying to play video game music. I have Mario and Zelda sheet music books ;D So if any of you play instruments post them here!

I predominantly play guitar and drums. I do however, own 3 synths/midi controllers (Roland W-30 sampling workstation, Casio CZ-1000 FM synth, Roland Edirol PCR-30 midi controller), I'm just not so good at playing them. I think I'm just addicted to things that make a noise

I play the Piano, and then I make music with FX from videogames. It's on my PC,and my Piano is Electric, so I can make some cool sounds with that. does that count as instruments?

I can play Zelda songs! In fact, I have an Ocarina of Time replica! if you want one www.songbirdocarina.com but it might be www.songbirdocarinas.com it always takes me 2 tries to access that site.

If I ever got one I'd learn ever single song Zelda. How much do they cost? like $40 for a sweet potato ocarina (zelda replica) or $50 for an extended range (1 extra hole) also, $60 for an extended range, not quite so tiny one. I have the first 2.

I'd say that the one with the extra hole is better (more songs to play) but the cheaper one is cheaper, and easier to learn.

I forgot to mention the ocarina I have! I can play a few songs but I have to look at the booklet to play them or I forget the notes! I think I have the sweet potato one..I'm not sure, it was a gift.

I play the guitar, not so much metal anymore cause it sounds crappy on my guitar. Though it is fun to play punk.

I play the guitar. I am somewhat new at it. I haven't been able to play it in a while because my family didn't let me bring with us on vacation. .I am learning power chords and screwing with songs with that. Another question for this topic. What made you want to learn/play that instrument? That isn't off topic is it?It is just another question corresponding to it...

What made you want to learn/play that instrument? That isn't off topic is it?It is just another question corresponding to it...I think that's a good idea, it doesn't seem too off topic to me. Another thing you could mention if you want is how long you've been playing your instrument! I started piano about a year and a half ago, when my parents got this electronic keyboard from SAMS Club for a good deal and brought it home as a surprize for me and my brother. At first we just fiddled around with it. But I really enjoyed it. and seemed to take to it pretty well, so I decided to take piano lessons to improve my skills. :] And now I have a full sized keyboard! And it is awesome. It was also pretty cool 'cause I knew this guy online who played piano very well and sent me his songs to listen to. He was so good it made me want to play too!
